Just for Women
MDPC Women is the place for women of all ages and life stages to commune and connect with God and others. Whether in a class setting, small group or special event, there is a place for you to be seen and heard. We look forward to being with you!
The Well | Wednesday, October 26
October Topic: Who Do You Think I Am?
Wednesday, October 26
6:30-8:00 PM in the Chapel
Join us for snacks and refreshments at 6:00 PM in the Parlor.
“My idol is you.” That sentence shared in our last Well gathering has stuck with me ever since. Don’t we all feel that way? We idolize what people think of us on a daily basis. We care what our spouses, our family members, our friends, co-workers, and even strangers think about us. Behind the social media posts, the volunteer hours, the striving. Who do they think we are? And who does God think we are?
Join us at The Well, our semi-annual gathering for women of all ages and life stages to commune and connect. Hear a panel of real, honest women talk about how they learned of the ways God views them.
Christmas for Kids | Sign-up opens October 30
MDPC Women are partnering with Small Steps Nurturing Center to provide Christmas gifts for siblings of children in SSNC programs. There are over 250 children hoping to have a special Christmas this year! When you sign up, you receive a child’s name, gender, and age along with a gift suggestion list. Please provide three gifts per child for a total spent on each child of $50-$100. We hope you will join us on this new journey of generosity to make these sweet children feel very special.
Sign up and pick up your materials on Sundays, October 30-November 20.
Return wrapped gifts to MDPC by Friday, December 2.
Interested in helping us wrap gifts? Or, are you able to provide gifts but unable to wrap? We’ll provide gift wrapping December 3 (9:30 AM-1:30 PM, Parlor). Teenagers are welcome to volunteer for service hours.
